Congratulations Jeff, just seen you finished in 6 hours 3 mins and a few seconds! The Towny's are really proud of you, we all checked your progress every so often. All the gang here, some them had sponsored you were all here at our house today, we did a big bbq and had a toast to all your efforts.

Well done :0)

Well, if you deduct the time I spent in line at the port-o-potty (I stopped once) I came in under six hours, but I'm proud to have finished.

There were over 23,000 runners, and I finished 13,349th. Those Kenyans are wimps. I bet THEY couldn't run for six hours!

Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement!

Thanks for the report, Jeff. Wow!!! That's alot of runners! You so rock for doing this for such a worthy cause. And what a personal accomplishment as well.

Gratz!

Congratulations, Jeff. Over here in Malaysia we have the Penang Bridge marathon. It takes place on June 24, 2007. The full marathon covers a distance of 42km, or 26 miles! Unfortunately the closing date has passed, otherwise you could have come over to participate.
