I might take my 3 old computers and stick them together like this so I can do some multi-tasking:

<...Snip>

Anyone try this and does anyone know if it helps any? I will be using my newer computer and moniter (not seen in the picture) as the main one, and will hook 2 moniters up to it, and the left moniter would be an older one.
I think your monitors are too mismatched to really have it work well.

I have been running dual monitors for 3 or 4 months now, and would not turn back unless I really had to.

If you have a dual-head nVidia card, then I believe it comes with a driver. If you have an ATI card, then it will not extend the taskbar onto the second monitor, thus making everything somewhat awkward. I'd suggest you try UltraMon.

ok... that's your desktop, default windows scheme, nothing at all changed...? this is "Show off your setup"

As I was going down the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today; I wish I wish he'd go away.

LMAO, what a sweet setup! Black Desktop and Silver XP Theme. You must have spent hours on that setup man. Where can I learn to customize like that! Well at least he isn't using the default icons.

I got a Dell Dimension 8300 in late December 2003.

Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz HyperThreading
512MB RAM DDR
Dual Hard Drives, one 40 GB, one 80 GB.
I think it's got 16x DVD ROM and CD-RW drives. I forgot the RW's speed.
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro... Yes it does run games well.
That's just about the highlights.

Acessories:
HP Deskjet 722C
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro
Microsoft Force Feedback USB Wheel
Off-brand speakers. Man they suck. I need some new ones.
Cannon Powershot S400 Digital Camera
Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 87TXM

Then I have my old thing...
Pentium III 400 MHz
128 MB RAM
30 GB Hard Drive
8x/4x CD-RW Drive, except it doesn't burn CD-RWs. 48x CD ROM drive.
Some N-Vidia Card. Believe me it SUCKED.

I have some pictures... can anyone show me how to post pictures?

One More Solo?
YEAH!
