Set Internet Explorer to open my image files?

Where do I go to set my file type associations for Internet Explorer? Because right now, my .bmp files open in Paint, and my .jpg files open in another program. I want internet explorer to handle (open) all image types when I double-click on them.

I'm using Windows 98 and IE 6.
