deleting netcape mail account

ok so I recently reinstalled Netscape Navigator 7.1, since I like to test any webpages I create in several browsers just to make sure they look good in them all. I say reinstalled because I had it installed earlier, but then I got to go through the fun and excitement of formatting my C: drive and losing everything. unfortunately, this time somewhere along the registration line apparently I got stuck with a @netscape.net email address that I really don't want.
and of course it's integrated itself into aim, since now I have the "read mail" menu with that address in there.... I only realized that I now have this account when my aim icon starting going nuts and I couldnt figure out why until I saw it was a mailbox icon (one of the only icons I didnt change cause I never needed to see it anyway)
i looked all over the netscape site for a way to delete this account... nothing. did a google search... nothing. did a BBB search... nothing. so my question is... is there a way to delete this account? apparently if I dont log in for x days, it will go inactive, but I dont want it to go idle, I want it to go away. any thoughts?
