this is one of the weirdest things...

any link that I click that opens in a new window always appears clear ( you can see the program beneath it. Like in outlook express if I click a link it becomes clear and does not load even if I wait 30 minutes.

Maybe your computer just completely sucks, or its a decent speed but its being overloaded by spyware. What graphics card do you have? Or do you have onboard, and if so, what motherboard?

Or... you should try defragmenting your computer to make program run faster... It always works for me

seriously, about the only thing I can figure after all of that is a defrag, but I'm really not a good source about this sort of thing, whenever that happened to me, it just meant my browser was taking extra time bringing it up, or my computer was slowing down. I always just restarted, ran my spyward programs, cleaned out all my temp files and cookies and such, then if I needed to, defraged.

No, I probably can't help you.
But I might be able to make you laugh and forget that you just nuked 16 hours of photoshop work.

My cousin has that problem. A simple defrag and spyware/adaware check should work

is your hole computer running slower then normal? you say it was fine yesterday, did you download anything new? how big is your hard drive? how full is your hard drive? it might be time to format it if your hard drive is full or almost full and defraging it hasnt helped..
