Free Web Hosting?

I know that this has been asked before, but mine is a little bit specific, and I didn't seem to have much luck with the ones in the other threads. So here goes... I need a free host without ANY popups or banners. It is for a school project and I dont want popups or banners during my presentation. I won't need very much space at all, it is just going to be a really simple site with only about 5 or 6 pages. Thanks alot.

Try this one...

http://www.united.net.kg/

I've not tried it myself, but the features list does say, "No Banners or PopUps, NO Ads at all !!"

I just did a Google search for it. Here's the relavent search.

Hope that helps.

*EDIT* That is of course in addition to AwesomeSauce's suggestions, as he beat me by a measly two seconds..lol

AwesomeSauce, the first one looked really good until I tried to sign up. Here is what I got:

Hmm, well, right now I'm using 100Webspace, but maybe you should try ATSPACE as I suggested above. They don't give you as much space as any of the other choices, but you probably don't need that much anyway. And the sign-up is very simple.

Try www.freewebs.com. I found it very professional. No popups or banners when hosting a site there, however, there is a bandwidth limit (which should not be an issue for 5-6 pages), and they request a simple link back to the mothersite. I think it's a quite a fair deal.

As a sidenote, I usually create a credits page on my websites anyway, stating the sites I used as reference, any forums or message boards I access, from where I copied any java applets from (thats where the real credit comes in), , people who helped me, etc.

DME was here, and DME did this

Ok, I signed up for Atspace. It looks pretty good so far, I just hope Bess doesn't block it at our school
