HELP: Virus took over desktop. Can't see wallpaper!

I had a bunch of viruses and spyware on my computer. I got rid of them now, but before i did, it replaced my wallpaper with some ad as the background. I deleted the ad, but now my background just shows up as white, and changes shades sometimes as if its trying to load a page or something. Only when I shut down "explorer.exe" can I see my normal wallpaper.

I'm guessing it altered a file, or there's something running that I can't detect. I've already ran Nortan and Ad-aware. Please help!

run webroot spysweeper. it might help. it always comes up with something that norton and adware dont identify.
