HELP: Recover Deleted Files

I recently ran a Spyware scan using Microsoft AntiSpyware and it deleted some of my songs and videos. What program do I use to recover my lost files? I haven't downloaded anything large after the deletion, so I'm guessing my files are still on my hard drive.

I'm currently trying to use a program called "Recover My Files", but it's making me use this cluster search thing that takes quite a bit of time, and I don't know whether it will work. Is there a program that can make the process faster, or undelete files that Microsoft AntiSpyware has deleted?

Thanks.

you should mount your harddrive (literally) on another computer as a slave. then install PC Inspector File Recovery (freeware) on the master drive on that computer. it should find the hard drives on that computer (including yours) and you can then start recovering your files.

If you want your data back I'd advise (before following user91c's advice) to stop using a web-browser, IM client and basically any other software that writes files, otherwise you're more likely to lose data.

K, I fixed it. Apparently Microsoft Antispyware didn't really delete my files, it just quarantined them. So I just had to un-quarantine them. Thank God.

Thanks for the help anyways.

I know Microsoft Antispyware does not delete files automatically by default,so you had to see they were gone to be quarantine before you proceed hmmmmm..
