Sharing Files Over Network

I have some files on my second harddrive(F) and I want to see if I can share some files on that harddrive over my network without putting the files in "Shared Documents" on my main harddrive(C). Reason being, my main harddrive is much smaller than my second, and if I put the files I want to share on it, I doubt they would all fit on it, much less leave enough room for my computer to operate well.

Thanks

well... potentially depending on your OS, you should be able to share that folder no matter what. I have XP Pro, and this is what I have to do: there's a "Sharing and Security" dialog box (right click the folder you want to share and go to Sharing and Security), and it should allow you to share that folder. You'll need to have the 'Computer Browser' and 'Server' services running (Start > Run > services.msc) for this to work.

If you have some other OS, I'm not sure if there are any significant differences...

As I was going down the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today; I wish I wish he'd go away.

Oops, I must've forgot to put that I'm on WinXP home on that computer.

But anyways, I got it to work. Thanks.
