Click to Enter

Hi I have a question, have you seen the script that makes an user have to click on a banner to enter a site...

I have a PSD website and want to have users click on a banner, which will be a different one everytime, because it will be links to my partners, and i want people to click on that before they can enter to download psds, so I will make a new page and put the script in there and then have CLICK ON THE BANNER BEFORE YOUR ENTER..

does anybody know how to do that?

Thank you

Let me warn you first: It is against most web ad companies' policy to force a user to click before viewing a page. If these are private partners that you obtained directly, then you should be fine.

You would probably want to have your index page be the ad/banner, and when the user clicks the banner, set a variable with JavaScript, or enable text that says something like "Go on to site >".

No its not a web ad company, it is just like a network of sites... I want people to click on my PSD's page and then have to click on the BANNER, or ad, and then can enter to view the PSD's, how can I do that, can you walk me through that please?

When I just put the text GO ON YOUR SITE, people dont have to click on the banner, but I want people to click on the banner to be able to get in the site

thank you

Then you make the banner on your main page, index.php, and when the user clicks your banner, you can have a text link appear with JavaScript that says "Continue to my site. Click here." but which only shows up after the user clicked on your banner. This is done very simply with JavaScript, I'm not going to tell you exactly how because I don't know the exact environment it's in and I'd rather see someone like you learn JavaScript. It's a useful language if you run a website.
