Firefox:
  • Goto "View", which is located at the top of your browser
  • Click "Text Size"
  • Choose "Increase"

The firefox shortcut is ctrl and + for increasing, while its ctrl and - for decreasing.

Internet Explorer 7:
  • Click on the "Page" button
  • Choose "Text Size"
  • Choose a larger size

Also a neat trick if you have a mouse with a middle scroll wheel, if you hold Ctrl and scroll the wheel up and down it changes the text size

Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away but girl, tonight you look so pretty, yes you do!
Time Square can't shine as bright as you...

A note: Some websites have been designed to not support this (not on purpose), so if the trick doesn't work, you may have to use Windows' Accessibility features.

Hi lethalman:

Have you tried going to Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier? This is a neat utility because you can set the amount of magnification that you like. You can also configure the Accessibility Wizard to set the Magnifier as a permanent default setting every time Windows starts.

Also, if you use a browser that isn't IE, like Opera for example, it has a "Zoom" feature, where it will not only increase the size of the text, but EVERYTHING, it literally zooms in on the page.

I also do believe IE7 has this feature now too, in the bottom-right hand corner, you should see a magnifying glass with a 100% by it, try changing it to something larger.
