Meh, like the last change, I guess I'll get used to it. I kinda liked it last time where you had the chance to revert to the old layout for awhile. It gave users a chance to get used to it.

Robert Scoble wrote an interesting post about the new Facebook design and how Facebook will NEVER listen to its users and SHOULDN'T.

Interesting concept - but I still don't like the new design. As for leaving, no - I probably won't - but I can say I spend a heck of a lot less time on FB than I did a year ago (before the first roll out of recent design changes).

Oh, they're not done! After reading this article, it finally made sense to me why some don't mind the new design -- it's probably those who use Twitter that can appreciate the new redesign. It's very similar and I never really thought about that.

Seems like enough people have complained about the new design. It doesn't seem like they're losing the Twitter-style news feed, but revamping whats shown in the feed and the information that surrounds it. I've already noticed some small changes, such as the "Friends you may know" jumping to the top of the page, where it was at the bottom previously.

Wow! Great article - thanks for posting it!!

I'm glad FB is responding in some way. I also noticed the friends thing moved this morning, but as of yet I've not spent time looking for anything else.

Thanks for the before and after shots! I actually like the new Facebook better, but then I'm already familiar with this "style" from Twitter and FriendFeed.

Anyone else have any idea where the birthday feed went? Seems like mine has gone missing.

I haven't seen it. I have the Events app, but honestly I haven't set anything up on it and I wouldn't think to go look at it. The sidebar birthday for contacts was really nice and I miss it!!!

OK, so I have to report that after a few weeks of using the new facebook I've already forgotten all about the old one. And I must say I really like the twitter-style updates on facebook. Makes me wonder where twitter's been all my life!
