Oh, they're not done! After reading this article, it finally made sense to me why some don't mind the new design -- it's probably those who use Twitter that can appreciate the new redesign. It's very similar and I never really thought about that.
Seems like enough people have complained about the new design. It doesn't seem like they're losing the Twitter-style news feed, but revamping whats shown in the feed and the information that surrounds it. I've already noticed some small changes, such as the "Friends you may know" jumping to the top of the page, where it was at the bottom previously. |
