Facebook Issues Acknowledged

In the last few days there have been a lot of issues with Facebook. Many users have been unable to log in, receive error messages when posting, find content disappearing, contact lists show no one online, etc.

You can read more at PC Worldor see the general post on the Facebook Help Center. Facebook has acknowledged the problem, but given no reason for it.

Aside from waiting it out there is nothing you can do.

Well at least it's not just me

Nope, definitely not just you!! I did pretty well for chat when connected via Astra last night, but my contacts who were on the website were constantly crashing.

However this morning, I went to check FB on the iPhone and there were no posts and no notifications - nada...nothing. It was simply empty. But, like magic it all came back about 10 minutes later.

Hopefully they'll get it all sorted out soon. It's kind of a shame given Digsby just redid their FB interface and Astra will be announcing something or other along the same lines later this week.

Yeah, I have had to consistently refresh my screen several times in a row before it will load -- as I was saying to you last night.. the chat was crashing big time.. content not loading. Weird stuff.
