"re-following" a post on Facebook?

Usually, when I comment on friends' posts, I'll receive notifications when there are new comments. But after a while, I stop getting notifications on further replies unless they're made by the profile owner. Does anyone know how to "re-follow" a post in this case?

It is very eay just click on the unlike button and it will be unfollowed.
