Hacker v3.1 :: Cyber Warfare

Ok, first off, this is just a game. There is no real hacking involved here, ok?

I find this game quite amusing. There are 12 different missions to accomplish. They all involve hacking into a paticular server(such as www.bankwest.com.au or www.icq.com) copying and/or deleting a file, and sometimes installing a virus onto the server. Here is a screenshot:



First you will want to select one of the missions on the right and see what you have to do. Then you will have to click on the DNS button to enter the hostname and find out the IP, then click PING to enter the IP and see if the connection is online(you may have to try a couple of times). Then click on NMAP to scan for open ports. After that, click on TELNET and type, for example, open 3.29.10.198 3422 to log in. The username will always be root. JOHN RIPPER is the password-cracking tool. Once you have logged in, you have to quickly copy and/or delete whatever files that you have to or install a virus, and to remove your traces you will have to delete, for example 192.168.0.1.log. Then type Exit to disconnect.

well i am having a hard time with tellnet i get there and i can't put the i.p or port in it cuz when i do it says Error: unable to connect. check i.p and port
how do you put it in cuz your example didn't help me.

Hi there.. I really hope i am not too late for this.. I REALLY need someone's help in this game.. I played this game about a year back and i pretty much know the commands.. Now i have totally forgotten how to delete the logged ip / traces after completing the mission.. Pls assist me.. The only thing i got is the secret server which will give you 100 lives instead of 3.. Any help will be appreciated very much..
