Trillian 2.0 Patch Restores Yahoo Connectivity

Jeff Hester

September 27, 2003

Cerulean Studios has released a beta patch for Trillian Pro 2.0 users that restores Yahoo connectivity. Once they’ve confirmed that it’s working reliably, similar patches will be available for Trillian Pro 1.0 and Trillian 0.74.

Here’s the official announcement from the members customer care center:

Trillian Pro 2.0 Yahoo Patch Beta 1 (9/26/03)

A beta version of a patch to fix the recent Yahoo! connectivity issue is now available for Trillian Pro 2.0 users (available on the right hand portion of this page). Please test this patch and let us know if you experience difficulty; this patch may not work for all users. We will issue final patches for 2.0, 1.0 and .74 as soon as we’re confident everything is functioning 100%.

I’ve used the patch myself, and can confirm that it works.

Thanks to Zargeus for alerting us to the patch. If you’re using 2.0, check it out and share your feedback.
