More Google IM Rumors
 We've got more rumors about an instant messenger from Google. As you know, Google already owns one IM-like product with Hello -- the chat client that comes with Picasa. Now, rumors are floating around at digg that Google has been talking to the guys at Meetro about a possible acquisition. If you blend Meetro's vicinity awareness and multi-network connectivity with Hello's picture sharing capabilities, would you have enough brilliance to attract people away from their current instant messenger?

Wow! It seems like this rumor has sprouted some wings. I've seen a couple other fairly credible sources confirming this rumor.

Looks like it's not Meetro, at least not in the near term.
