Google Talk BETA Adds Buddy Icons

As we previously reported by Jeff Hester from CES back in January, Google has been working on an update to Google Talk that includes buddy icons. Now there is a beta version 1.0.0.91 that you can download.

What's new in this beta version of Google Talk?

1. Biggest and coolest change? Buddy icons.
2. When you mouse-over a contact, a little box shows up telling more about them.
3. Add & View all contacts are now buttons.
4. Gmail notifier next to buttons.
5. Multiple chat looks in settings. This changes the way the conversations look, they remind me of forums. Of course standard is still available. Each theme has 2 versions; with or without buddy icons.
