OctroVideo - Stream live video using Symbian S60 3rd phone

Octro, Inc (Octro) has released a new application OctroVideo. You can stream live video and your buddies can view this video anywhere around the globe. All you need is Symbian S60 3rd edition phone with built-in camera.

Download and install OctroVideo application on you Symbian phone from Octro. Now you need to register your unique username and password at Octro. You are all set to stream the video. Launch OctroVideo application on your phone. Select Stream to begin streaming.

All buddies everywhere can view your video. Give your username (not the password) to your buddies. Ask the buddies to go to Octro and enter the username. Your buddies can now view this video on their computers.

I'd like to see an application that has more universal phone support, keeping connected on the computer has become a little easier, but phones are still stuck on a whole other level. Perhaps we will see that relatively soon with the iPhone 2.0 about to drop, and WM7 on the way.

OctroVideo application for Windows OS Pocket PC and SmartPhones have been released.
