Brosix.com Receives Lucrative Nominations for Best Instant Messenger at About.com

Chicago, IL - February 16^th, 2009 – About.com, one of the most trusted “How To” sites on the internet, recently announced its nominations for top Instant Messaging software of 2009. Even though Brosix has yet to garnish the popularity of instant messaging programs by AOL and Yahoo!, it received nominations in the following categories:

• Best IM Experience 2009
• Best Third-Party IM Client 2009
• Most Improved IM Client 2009
• Best IM Feature 2009 (for Whiteboard Feature)
• Best IM Developers 2009

Brosix is a start-up firm whose goal is to develop secure instant messaging software for business and home. Standard chat features are available, including voice and video conferencing. A few unique tools like a free-drawing whiteboard and screen sharing features push Brosix over the top.


Brosix has two versions of their IM client: the enterprise version at brosix.com and the free version at brosix.org. The free version gives you the opportunity to explore the features without committing your company to the product.
