Little-Known Google Talk Avatar Fact

Did you know that your Google Talk avatars can be transparent PNG files, and Google Talk will display them properly with transparency and everything?



As you can see, the Firefox logo is a PNG file, and the GT client renders it properly unlike certain browsers which display it as a grey background.

So if you make your own avatars for yourself, consider this an option for Google Talk
