You know that instant messaging has really impacted the way we do business when none other than venerable Forbes magazine prints an article on IM etiquette at work. Most of BigBlueBall's younger crowd will find it funny, but there's actually some good advice, doled out in a cartoon slide-show.

One word of wisdom for career-minded college grads: Don't overlook the importance of face-to-face interaction and phone calls. Many companies are beginning to find those skills lacking.
