I'm hoping that there is some sarcasm to that!!! if i were to ask someone out, i would prefer to do it in person to show confidence to the person i'm asking and to show that i am comfortable with them!

Phil, always the eternal optimist.
Your hopes are dashed, sarcasm requires a measure (ever so small) of intelligence. I see none, do your?

Hey Fanatic, what kind of "ask-out" are yout talking about?

I see Xteria864 over there is talking about chat rooms n' stuff so I assume he's talking about the childish "Online Dating" the teens n' children do.

Then I see Phil talking about reality n' real dating.

OK I don't believe in "Online Dating", I think it's kinda immature - the person who you believe is your "partner" is prolly a 42 year old married biker/pedophile, or exactly who they tell you they are - but with 7 other partners they never told you about. Meh.

In reality; yeah I've asked out n' been asked out - but I'll go with Phil; doing it in person is better. If it's asked online... it's so awkward seeing them the next day in person.

Yeah Windaphoner, you guessed correctly. I was talking about asking someone out on a real, live, face-to-face date via IM. What exactly is an online "date" anyway? A planned chat?
