Questions for the IM/SMS Grand Poobahs

Do you have a question, or maybe just need to know "how-to" do the little advanced tricks with IM's or SMS??? Ask and you may get lucky.

This is why I am creating this Topic, let me be the first one to ask....

here is another question, how to I correct the spelling in the title??? LOL should be POOBAH with a b.

how do you send animation to mobile from computer?

I had a friends send me the cutest little animated cartoon from his cell to mine. So I know enough that this had to be created on a computer first and then most likely coded in some html for a tag. But how, where to do it, and what ISP will allow you to computer to mobile it out?

I know Aim is where I send out my IM's from laptop to my friends cell phones.
Does anyone play around with creating these little funny icons or MMS templates? I can make them, just can't think how to make them cyber coded for it to show up on someones cell phone....

Thanks Hope to hear from some Grand Poobah soon,

    Mrs4am

I know (on my Smartphone anyways) I can attach any picture that is on my phone to a message and send it. So, for an animation it would need to be a .gif (if the phone supports animated pictures that is, if not try to make the picture into a .3g2, which is what movies on a phone are recorded in). I don't know of any tools that have a GIF to 3G2 conversion, but I'm sure you could find something. I suggest trying to make a simple gif animation, and send it to your cell phone. You can do this by using an SD Card or most cell companies have some way you can like email it.
