Member of the Month -November 2004

    Dun da da dun...

Once again, I am proud to present to you all our Member of the month!
    For November 2004...

    Martin_Bradley2002

Martin has been a member since June 2003, and we are glad he has stayed active. You can find Martin just about anywhere on the forum, whether he is having fun in the off topic section or helping out in the IM/computer sections, Martin is always ready to answer questions and be a great help! We appreciate it Martin and we hope you enjoy your new title

I asked Martin some questions in order for us to get a better idea of the person behind the posts:

Q: How did you find out about BigBlueBall? What made you stay?
A: I think it was through a Google search, regarding some problem I had with Yahoo Messenger. As for what made me stay, I just liked the idea of participating in an active community. BBB was the first forum I'd joined. I also think it's satisfying when you're able to help others out too, it gives you the chance to share your knowledge and ideas with others around the world.

Q: Why did you choose "martin_bradley2002" as your username?
A: This one's simple really. At the time, that was my Yahoo username. So I chose that just so I could remember it easily.

Q: How many years have you been using computers?
A: I've always had a keen interest in computers, most of the things I know I have taught myself. They say you learn from your mistakes. Well, my biggest mistake has to be accidently formatting my stepdad's computer at the tender age of 7! My excuse was I was experimenting. Heh! He wasn't best pleased...

Q: How long have you been instant messaging?
A: I'd say about 3 and a half years. I first started out with Yahoo Messenger, but progressed onto MSN Messenger a few months later.

Q: What is your favorite instant messenger and why?
A: Has to be MSN Messenger. For me, it's the one with the most useful features. The only annoyance is when the .NET Service is unavailable, but you live with it, don't ya? Yahoo is good, and they did make big improvements with the most recent release, but overall it's MSN. I've tried Trillian before, because of all the good reviews it was getting, but didn't really like that.

Q: What is your favorite BigBlueBall forum section and why?
A: Either the MSN Messenger Forum or the Computer Room. I think they are the two which I contribute to most regularly. As for why, i'm not sure. Perhaps just because they're the areas that I know most about. They're all good sections in their own right!

Q: What do you do when you're not online?
A: If i'm not online, I'm usually out playing football (or soccer, depending on where you're from). I'm a big Manchester United fan, I go to see them whenever possible. Otherwise I'm either sleeping, eating, or watching T.V. I should point out that I love watching comedies, usually British ones. The Office, Bottom, The Young Ones, and Red Dwarf are a few that come to mind.

    Q: Anything else?
A: Just that its good to be recognised as MOTM, and I hope I can keep sucessfully contributing to BigBlueBall! Thanks to everyone!

    congratulations martin... well deserved.
As I was going down the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today; I wish I wish he'd go away.

No, I probably can't help you.
