Dexter

Since I'm sharing a bit about my fave TV shows...

Any other Dexter fans out there? The show originally aired on Showtime (which I don't get) but they just finished airing a PG version on CBS, and season two (which has already aired on Showtime) will be on CBS this fall.

The basic premise is unique. Dexter is a detective who does blood work for the Miami police. He's also a serial killer. It sounds creepy and weird, but it's very well written, interesting and the story sucks you right in.

Season two is coming out in DVD in August, but it's available for download on Amazon Unbox now. I'm thinking of downloading it, and even subscribing to Showtime this fall just so I don't have to wait to see it. It's that good.

Absolutely! I Netflixed the first season, and now I'm excited to see Season Two, though I don't think I'll bother with the CBS version. Somehow I think it'll be too tame for its own good.

I watched Season One of Dexter on CBS and I'm hooked. I tried to add Season Two to my Netflix queue, but it's not out on DVD yet. I might have to download it, too.

Even though the CBS version is edited for TV, it's still very good.

My roommates are obsessed with the show, I'll pick up the DVD for the first season and blow through it sometime this summer.

Dexter is a terrific show, but I always feel a little creepy for liking it. It's weird/scary getting into the mind of a "likeable" serial killer.

There is good character development, and the plot goes much, much deeper than the mystery or story of the week. Two thumbs up!!

Attention Dexter fans! I've created a Dexter display pic for WLM and Yahoo! Messenger. You can find it over at our sister site, MessengerMods: Dexter display pic. Enjoy!

Just finished watching the Season 3 finale last night. A great season for a really interesting show.

Dexter is one of the only shows I've seen where the supporting cast actually gets pretty decent character development.

Can't wait for Season 4!

Meanwhile, those of us without Showtime are waiting for Netflix to have Season 3 available. So no spoilers, ok?

I got hooked watching it on CBS too. I've seen season 2 from Netflix, but I'm still really behind since they are already done showing the 4th season, right? I want to read the books too. they look interesting.
