Saw V

Okay okay, if you know me you obviously know I just got home from watching Saw V. I know many people are tired of the Saw series especially knowing there is a Saw VI in progress (if you watch VH1 you can watch "Scream Queens" in which the winner gets a starring role in Saw VI - by the way, yes I'm watching.)

I will rant a little here though to defend the series even though it's not the best of all time I still like it and enjoy watching them - aside the horror factor since I'm a horror movie girl. Series all start somewhere and just like you have your Halloween (Michael Myers), Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy Krueger), Chucky (the doll), Jason (guy with hockey mask), and now you have Saw (Jigsaw). Now you may think this movie is no where near the caliber of those movies but hey as much as I like horror movies I know some can get overdone like the trilogy of Final Destination - I mean come on what's next, a boat? Although I'll admit I'm one of the first who'd go see it. I'm happy to see someone trying to create a more modern series of horror movies, so spare me all your hate remarks on this series because you'll still find me sitting at the movie theater watching a Saw movie next Halloween season.....

But enough of my rant..... As for this movie I thought it tied up a lot of loose ends and of course introduced a lot of new factors we had been unaware of. It does seem to be reaching but hey it finds - everything makes sense. The ending does leave it open to the next installment which should be coming out next year and I for one look foward to it. Although I will admit I hope they don't start reaching way too far to keep making installments if they run out of ideas but of course who am I to speak since I'll keep watching.

My money well spent and I do not recommend this movie at all if you have not watched all the Saw series or else this one, just like the last one, will make no sense to you.

I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet.

Ooooo - lookout! Girl's got her movie groove on! Glad it's entertaining you, Nessa - and glad you came to its defense as I had heard a few criticisms.

Yeah, I've read plenty of Saw 5 reviews since Friday so it made me feel better about my above review because there was some people out there who shared my thoughts. The funniest I read was about people hating the movie, hating the fans as well - I found that hilarious. I never realized liking a horror series made me a bad person! lol

I'm curious - anyone else on here seen the movie yet?
