Recently I saw two on DVD: Say Anything and Storm of the Century.

I thought the story to Say Anything was touching and had a great atmosphere to it.

Storm of the Century was very gripping for me. It is over 4 hours long and I watched the whole thing in one sitting.

I saw two recently in the theater... Transporter 3 and Quantum of Solace.

Transporter 3 was a great driving movie. No pretensions, just pure action.

Quantum of Solace was a great Bond movie and a natural continuation of the previous Bond film.

I just watched Babylon AD (starring Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh) and... hmm. Somewhat decent action sequences, and some really nice visuals/CG, but the plot was practically non-existent. I got to the end and went, "uh, what just happened?"

I give it 2.5 of 5 stars.

HAHAHA I just watched "Versus" - it's a Japanese B-movie. If I had to give you the plot line, well... there isn't one, really. Basically a guy escapes from prison, gets into a fight with some gangsters (yakuza) and finds out that unfortunately they're in the Forest of Resurrection where people don't stay dead. Almost two hours of pointless zombie kung-fu gunplay/swordplay resulting in lots of over-the-top gore effects, and then some weird mystical destiny-sorts of stuff.

Weird, but somehow awesome all at once. I highly recommend it if you have two hours to waste and enjoy bizarre movies. And zombies. And kung-fu.

What, is no one else watching movies or do I just have too much free time on my hands?

Tonight's feature was extra special... "The Tiger Blade," a 2005 Thai action film. Obviously I've had my username since before 2005, so don't get any ideas about it being where I got the idea.

Howerver.... either there's a serious gap in translation or whoever wrote the plot synopsis for this movie didn't actually watch it, because most of the summaries I saw were completely wrong.

Just finished watching Vice. Depending on your mood when you watch it I guess, it can be a pretty decent movie for a Saturday night. The reviews don't make it to be a mind blower, but it's worth a watch, none the less.

Watched Jumper and Eagle Eye yesterday. Both were okay for action but weak in the acting department.

I just watched Batman Begins, again directed by Christopher Nolan, and it's such a smooth segue into The Dark Knight. The Nolan flicks are the cream of the Batman series.

No, I love love love love love watching movies just sadly haven't gotten a chance to watch much but I'm back at it again - just haven't posted about them either.

Since I'm trying to catch up movies I've recently just watched are: The Dark Knight, Eagle Eye, Wanted, The House Bunny, I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, 21, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Joy Ride 2, Prom Night, Doomsday 2012, Iron Man, Get Smart, Run Fatboy Run, Stuck, Hancock, Death Race, Lakeview Terrace, and that's about all I can remember at the moment.

So see Tom, you are definitely not alone.

I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet.

Holy crap! That's a lot of movies, Nessa!!!

I saw Wall-E last night. Great CGI and a very sweet (if not light) story.

Worth a watch.
