What film have you recently watched?

We have a post called "What are you listening to"

So today I was thinking I watch lots of films. And thought well let's try this, so what was the last film you watched? Good or bad ...

The last film I watched was called The Happening.

Liked it, the acting was a bit cardboard, but made me think.

I watch movies too frequently to even bother listing them. That's the curse of Netflix + DVR + *cough cough* other sources *cough*

Last movie I watched to the end was The Hard Easy - two groups of thieves have the same heist planned for the same time. Drama and mild hilarity ensues. Not bad, but not going to be nominated for any awards. I can't see Bruce Dern as anything but the peacenik hippy from Silent Running.

I just got back from a trip to Santiago, Chile -- a LONG flight -- and I was able to watch several movies over the course of the trip:
  • The Incredible Hulk (the Ed Norton version; not bad)
  • Iron Man (I had already seen it in the theater, but still enjoyed it)
  • Son of Rambow (very cute comedy about friendship)
I'm looking forward to seeing the new Bond movie in a couple weeks, and I'd like to see "W."

I had actually rented the flick Stuck supposedly based on a true story.

It's one of those B-class movies, straight to DVD, with hardly-to-no main stream actors, but nevertheless pretty decent.

I'd definitely recommend a download or Netflix/Blockbuster rental.

Agreed! It's interesting, as it puts you in the story to make up your mind, as "what would you do?"

Resurrection Mary Give it 3/5

A young man meets a girl who might be a ghost, but matters turn serious when his friends start dying under mysterious circumstances.

What was interesting, is they based it on a ghost that is meant to haunt an area in Chicago.

Worth a watch

Saw V

The worst of the series in my humble opinion. Too 'light' for a Saw movie.. They should have probably ended it after III.
I guess they're trying to make it like a Friday the 13th kinda thing which is a mistake.

The road to success is always under construction.

I saw "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" last night. It was funny, but not as funny as my friends had built it up to be. Worth watching though.
