The 4400

I bought the box set of 4 seasons of 4400 about two weeks ago, and I gotta say.. DAMN. What a great show! I'm REALLY disappointed it got cut short but this show is worth buying the DVD series (or however else you may come across it

It was a show that flowed into one another based on the events of the show. I'm thinking now a days, these types of shows don't last as long as those like House or CSI, where each episode is it's own.

Anyway, the idea behind this show would make a kickass movie..and I'm hoping with the way they ended the show (an ending that answers a lot of questions but keeps your imagination flowing.. not a cliffhanger but also keeps it open for a sequel). Apparently season 5 is coming into book form.. and I'll tell ya.. I don't read.. I hate it but I WOULD read this one.

I'm so sad it's over

*MOURN!* I said MOURN!!

Really, The 4400 was one of my all time favorite shows in the history of the known universe. But...like anyone wasn't expecting that one, right?

The 4400 was about a group of people (4400 of them) that suddenly appeared in a giant ball of light out in the middle of nowhere. These people had nothing in common /except/ that they are all people who were reported missing from about 1940s to present. Some were only gone a couple years, some were gone for decades. They haven't aged. They have no memory of where they were. They seemingly have nothing in common other than from wherever they went missing, they phenomenally just appeared in this one spot over night.

They're put into quarantine of course and such, but over time, some of them start developing strange abilities. And the show just goes through their trials, introduces new ones but it follows a few selected members of note as well as the people and the government agency assigned to watch them.

Seriously Graham...I /mourned/ when I heard they weren't being signed to another season.

No, I probably can't help you.
But I might be able to make you laugh and forget that you just nuked 16 hours of photoshop work.

I don't watch much TV, so I tend to just buy DVD's of the TV series, and I've only bought one whole season (that being the O.C.) but this one, really made me sad when it was over. I don't even recall this show being on TV so it doesn't surprise me that it's no longer on TV.. but if there really is going to be a book... I can't wait!
