Underlining your nickname on msn messenger

How do you underline your msn messenger display names?

there's something about this on the mess.be site under"name tips and tricks" or something like that. The link to download the necessary program does not work, and i cant get an answer from them concerning this. if anyone has the program, or can figure sumtin out, e-mail me @ pinky_burgerbrain@hotmail.com or reply to this post.

This definitly isn't my bowl of soup... but. Here goes.

There are two ways of underlining your screenname. Due to my lack of energy n' soberness - I'm only going to explain the easy one (but requires a download).

First thing frist - Download Heavy_K's Advanced NickChanger.

Ok so once you have the NickChanger up n' running - do the following.

• Type the text that you would like underlined (ie. your screenname)
• Hit Enter on your keyboard (you will now be on a new line)
• Insert the Macron charater ( ¯ ), as many times as there are letters in the screenname you chose on the line above. (you can just copy n' paste the macron I have up there.)

• Then just hit Set Nick, n' you're done.

(The underline only will appear in a conversation btw.)

as winda mentioned b4, there are two ways. winda explained the first way now i m gonna explain the second way which is pretty simple and basically the same.

go to tools, options and in the place where u change ur nick, put a hard enter after ur nick (u can get the hard enter from mess.be) once done that, copy and paste the character in the brackets ( ¯ )
count the number of characters in ur nick. lets say u hav 5 characters in ur nick, u will paste the character above 5 times and press OK

Puh-LEASE. If you're going to post a URL, please give the actual one! You might as well say "It's somewhere on the web". And YES you can grab URLs from Mess.Be. I do it all the time - It's not impossible.
