Infact yes there are posts in the Yahoo Forums explaining how to find out someone's IP address without sending files. Think n' give more effort before you give yourself a wedgie n' make every other living soul your own scapegoat.

Start > Run... > cmd.exe > netstat
Netstat will show all your current connections n' their IP address. Kay? There. Satisfied? (Prolly not...)
