i hav never heard of win 2000 ME, as far as i know, both 2000 and ME are seperate, PLZ choose one... back to topic: seems like an ordinary problem but i havnt really heard of a solution for it. u could try upgrading ur current msn messenger version and if that dont help run "Windows Update" and download/intall all of the security patches/recommended downloads. i m not sure if that will work but its worth trying.

AND also that some people had this problem before and wat they did was use either trillian or vista and left msn messenger alone. after like a week or so, they tried it and worked. so if none of the suggestion above work, use "trillum" (thats wat u call it) and try using it after a week or so.

I was having that trouble without trillian( as trillian wont work for me) I too kept uninstalling messenger and re-downloading it again. Eventually i downgraded versions of messenger. It works great now. No more freezes. So that may be the way to go for you as well.

I doubt.
Win95 is prone to problems on messenger....
But as far as we know - RayDaman runs something that was made around 2000... (we're not exactly sure what though... lol.)

I've never heard of persistant long term problems such as the ones that usually occur in Win95.. No offense MerryOne. RayDayam is experiencing a one-time thing that doesn't have to resolved by downgrading.

Raydaman..
AND.... more importantly, what did you install in the days prior to the start of your problems? (?4 days ago?).
