Auto Emoticons

Someone I was chatting with recently had their messenger set up to put the same emoticons on each message automatically. He called it auto emoticon. I can't find it as an option anywhere on mine. I have version 4.6.0083, do I need version 5? He hasn't been signed on recently for me to ask him.

I think that Spider man is right, it could be messenger plus.
What it does is whenever you send a message your chosen emoticon(s) automatically appear next to your display name. Saves you having to type them every time you send a message

I'm not really sure what you're after... if you just want the emoticon to appear next to your name when you send a message, you can add the emoticon code to your nickname. Say your normal nickname is "Scorpio". You could change it to "Scorpio (6)" and when you send a message it will look like:

Scorpio says:

Is that what you're after?

Yes that works. I don't know why I didn't think of it myself, it's obvious really.
Thanks
