Odd MSN error: transfer of contact list

Sometome told me about this which sounds odd. The person had some problems with MSNM and somehow, got another person's whole contact list, so the person added them one by one.

Anyone else heard of any contact transfer by accident?

Sounds really odd to me. MSN Messenger doesn't even have such a function so I have no clue how it could happen.

Yeah it is possible, my mate did it accidently, his co-worker asked him to go to File>Save Contact List and then asked him to send it to him, so that person got my m8s contacts which includes me.

Well, this isn't the same thing as this apparently happened involuntarily.

Hi Kail, do you know if that friend opened his/her outlook express on the computer while your friend was online?

Sometimes somebody is conected on a computer and someone else opens the outlook express. Outlook automatically takes the contact list that is in the computer (in this case your friend), even if the account name is not coincident. Moreover, if that person deletes the contacts through outlook the stay deleted (funny, eh?)....and in the same way they stay recorded on that person contact list...

it is the only explanation i have, but that is only if that person opened the outlook in the same puter your friend was on.
