Can't uninstall, Cant login MSN Messenger

MSN Messenger v 4.7, Home XP. Has worked for monmths, yesterday wouldn't login and still wont.

It does NOT show in the Add/Remove of the Control Panel.

Icon does show on Taskbar. Still will not login, yet my hotmail works fine.

I installed v 5.0, it would not login, either.

I am open to ANY suggestions/solution and thanks alot!

Sliique,

I had a problem similiar to yours. Do a system restore and roll your computer back a few days. If is still does it, then roll it back a week. Remember if you installed any programs after your Restore point, they will be uninstalled and will need to be installed again.

System Restore is located in the Programs, Accessories, System Tools.
That program has done wonder for my computer and problems.

Hope this helps

No, System Restore is only on XP. Don't believe that it would help your signin problem though. There are other forums about your problem with a solution, check em out.

Hello,

Windows XP is not the only OS with system restore. Im running Windows ME and system restore is located at: click START>>PROGRAMS>>ACCESSORIES>>SY STEM TOOLS>>SYSTEM RESTORE. And there you go system restore. Windows 98 does not have system restore.
