MSN 6.0.0268 locks up on startup

I have downloaded the new MSN 6 about 15 times, it downloads fine, I remove my MSN 5 and everything, I've done everything there is do to make it work, and every time I sign in, it tries signing in for about 20 seconds, then locks up. I then push Ctrl Alt Delete and it says it's not responding. It does this every time!!!
Is there anything I can do, and if not, what is the problem??? This is very frustrating!

Thanks,
Andria

I've installed 6.0.0268 on four computers, all running Windows XP Pro. The first two installed fine; no problems whatsoever. The second two are experiencing the same symptoms you describe.

The initial screen opens fine, and when I sign in, it appears to start working but before my contact list loads, the entire window goes complete white and just hangs.

I'm stumped. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, removing Windows Messenger, etc. but no luck so far. Anyone else seen this problem, and more importantly, found a solution?

try port forwarding on port (1863? whatever the MSN main port is) if you have a router. I tried it and now MSN works fine!!
