MSN Port usage and MSN vs iChat
Does any know that ports that MSN Messenger 6 uses? I may need to open some ports on my router.
Also, I use both Apple iChat and MSN Messenger 6. David Pouge is pretty much right on as far as his review. The best part of iChat is that it works, router or not with one click and NO ads! The best part of MSN is lots of add ons! The bad part of iChat....no USB webcams, not much to customize. The bad part of MSN 6, Ads! Does not remember video window sizes...needs some ports open on router for full usage. As far as audio and video quality, I give the nod to iChat. |
