different problem w/signing into msn?

I have msn version 6.0 like all of you of course, and when I try signing in it does say incorrect password or sign in name, which of course is untrue...
and when I try to get into my hotmail account it says page cannot be loaded. I even attempted to make a new account, but after putting in all my information it says the final page of the process could not be loaded. This doesn't sound exactly like everything I've read, and I don't know crap about how to do anything with my computer really, so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
