saving msn webcam chats?

Hello I was wondering if it is possible to save webcam chats. My wife does cam chats with me every week sicne shes away for a while and I was hoping I could save it for my little daughter since she is too little to stay up and wait for mom.

You can use a program called SnagIt and record your webcam session

SnagIt appears to only do advanced screen captures to images, it does not record video. But you can give Camtasia Studio a try, as it has the ability to record screen activity in real-time.

I stand corrected. Camtasia does offer more advanced features for video capture though, but Snag-It will work as well.

try to use hyper cam.it records but the quality is pretty crappy unless the user has a really good cam.it saves into avi files some of the videos I recorded aren't too bad but some just really suck. it depends on the cam and your video card but other than that it's a good program.i can't remember where I got it so you'll have to search it yourself. remember to ask the person if you may record them!

God, why would you choose Camtasia over SnagIt.... Camtasia is priced in the hundreds of dollars, and compared for the thing you want it to do, it's perfect for what you want.
