Nega patch not working with 6.0602

nega patch wont work? please help.. what happen right i already had msn 6.0 and then msn ask me to download msn 6.0 that comes on ur msn messager. but i didnt think it will do any harm.. but now my patches i had on here the heavy patches wont work wiv it so i had to delete it.. so i throught i check the verson so i did and it was different number (6.0602) that one. so i throught i get the lastest patches.. so i put this one on nega patches.. it says failled.. to patch so.. can anyone help me on this.. thanks for reading it,. jennie

well the reason may be bcos the nega patch wont be for MSN v 6.0.0602... there are a few patches avlbl for MSN 6.0.0602. you can check the following topic for details.... If you have Messenger Plus! installed on your computer whilst trying to patch your MSN Messenger with the Nega Patch, it will fail, as it does a CRC check, and Messenger Plus! alters the code around.

So, terminate Messenger Plus! via the task manager, or remove it from the startup list and reboot, then patch your MSN Messenger with the nega patch.
