Can't sign into MSN; Problem with connection

i cant sign into msn messenger 5 or 6, it seys

We where unable to sign you into .NET messenger service, possibly because of a problem with the service or with your internet connecion. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.

I am deffinatly conected to the internet, i use NTL broadband and have cheaked my comp for virus' including the bugbear, which i dont have, i have also tried various different solutions posted on this forum but none have worked. Is anyone else having this problem? and does anyone have a solution?

Hi. I too have got this problem. It has only started in the last few days. On NTL also.

I have no idea why this is happening, but it's well annoying!!

please provide more information such as OS, messenger version, and the last time you were able to sign in, or when the problem started.
