Install MSN Messenger without Admin rights

Hi,

Is there a way to bypass administrative restrictions and install MSN Messenger ?? They got some old Windows Messenger 4.5 and I want to install MSN Messenger 6, is there a way to install it without having the admin rights ? (This is on XP Pro by the way)

I am at school, the comps are on Windows XP Pro and the server is a Novell Netware. I already tried different things like using different parameters for installation, tried to just copy my MSN Messenger folder from my home computer and paste it on the one at school. I wantd to try to boot from CD so I can use the repair trick and gain access to Windows as an admin but the HDD is set as first boot device and BIOS is password protected, and the case is locked so I can't clear the CMOS lol.

Is there any way I can install it anyway ??

They obviously don't want you to install it on the school computers. If you must use MSN Messenger, perhaps a web-based version would be more suitable. Have look at this topic for some suggestions - Web based MSN Messenger??.

Why not just ask the school's network admin if (s)he'll install it for you?

Im superized they even kept Windows Messenger, or atleast made it usable. I highly doubt that they will update it. If you take a computer course in school, usually they give you a log on. See if adding MSN to your local Drive to save things will work.

The problem is not that they don't want us to use MSN, they left Windows Messenger on purpose, but they are just slow as hell to update. If I go ask for the MSN 6 by the time they install it I bet MSN Messenger 10 will be out. I guess I will go with Trillian till they update MSN, at least it lets me install this one.
Thanks anyway, and if you find a way to bypass admin restrictions let me know
