Problem in MSN conversation

Hi:
all the friends here, I have a problem: I use dailing up connect to internet, 3 months before I can setup conversation with my budy in msn 5.0 while we play game ( red alert2) base on windows 98, latter we couldn't setup the conversation even we didn't play game, then I upgrade my system to windows xp, now I can setup conversation with my friend in msn 6.0, but once I setup the conversation, my internet connection speed become very slow, I can't play game or surf any web site with the conversation connected.I wonder what's the problem, and what should I do if I wanna play game the same time be able to converse with my buddy.I really need help

well I cant tell what the exact problem is but I don't think it is due to msn messenger. Still if u think then try uninstalling it and then install it again.

well...i dont think so its MNS`s problem...check ur internet speed and setup ur modem setting....i agree with id09 ....

enna, I am very pleased to see the reply from U, but I doubt If it due to internet connection problem, why 3 months before I can setup the conversation with my buddy while playing game.My internet connection is the same speed, if due to the setting of the internet, would u please advise me how to do that?, thanks again , id09.

do u think MSN is disturbing ur internet settings and speed...
but how is it possible that u can`t browsing the sites as well...
so uninstall the MSN and renew the conversation setup...
i think u `ll get success....
