well dont know if this will work... try doing this
install v 5 first and then copy the folder C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger to some other location say c:\MSN
now install v6 to C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger...
after this try running v5 from C:\MSN...
I dont know whether it will work or not as Registry may pose some problem...
