MSN 6.0 Connection problem - Please Read.

OK heres my problem, alittle long in the wind but hey....

Internet Connection - Corporate LAN (with the Auto Dectect Settings UNCHECKED)

OS - Win2k
No firewall
I've got 2 live MSN Passports that have been used to try and solve the problem.

OK... lets start from the begining.
Version 4.7 worked fine, but now won't (Get the upgrade to newer version dialog box) cos of M/S security problem.
Tried upgrading to latest which is 6.0 won't work, get check "We were unable to sign you in the thr .NET service possibly because of a problem with your internet connection, Please try again later" dialog box.

So having followed all instructions on how to un-install/register deleteions etc i installed version 5.0, after 3 re-retries i eventually get the Click here to get latest verion in system tray but then MSN throws me out and says Check login name is correct/check password is correct, it seems to connect but i get this error. WHY?!?!?!

So i uninstall Version 5.0 and install 6.0 via the normal troubleshooting procedure, again i try and sign in to 6.0 and get "We were unable to sign you in the thr .NET service possibly because of a problem with your internet connection, Please try again later" dialog box.

So to re-cap.
Version 4.7 would work if i wasn't for security upgrade box.
Version 5.0 seems to connect very very briefly and then tells me my user id/password are incorrect.
Version 6.0 says i have a internet connection problem.

Another question is MSN 6.0 using a different port than 4.6/5.0????
According to my sygate client 6.0 is using 1161 and i thought that version 4.7 - 5.0 used 1863 is this correct????

Hope someone can help.... MSN 6.0 is totally shafted IMHO
