Symantec Scanning

i keep on getting a pop up message saying "symantec...scanning message 1 of 1"...after it gets done scanning it says unable to send message blah blah blah to whoever...even after i sign off of msn messenger it still does this...anybody know whats wrong?

Mine use to do that and the problem was it needed the updates from norton antivirus, as soon as I did that my problem was fixed.

What your 'problem' probably is, you set Norton AV to scan every file that is sent to you over MSN Messenger. It's definitly not a bad thing, but if you want to change/remove this, click tools, go to options, messages tab, and make sure the scan for viruses using: option is unchecked.

i have windows messenger and there is no tab for messages...how can i be receiving messages when i am offline?...its really f'n annoying me b/c it wont let me type 1 word w/o those messages popping up.

ok i fixed the problem (i hope)...i just took the messenger completely off my computer.

ahhhhhh...... It's not MSN Messenger, it's Outlook Express. If you have Norton, it will scan your emails before they are sent.

blah blah blah was for the title of the email...but i wasnt trying to send email...i think it was trying to send spam or something because all the titles were things like viargra, work at home, and crap like that.
