MSN problem, hope you can help!!!

Just a problem I've been having with MSN recently and it's annoying the hell out of me.Hope you can help.

Both myself and my sister use MSN using the same computer.

When I'm logged into MSN in MY account and talking away , my sisters friends (who are on her account!) suddenly manage to pop up (they're not on my buddies list). How is this possible?????? I'm logged into only my account, and not hers

Even sometimes when neither of us are on MSN, and MSN is LOGGED OFF, MSN is still somehow 'activated'. I repeat MSN is has not been logged into!!! I've checked the log in screen and we're definitely not logged on

Hope you can help!

Sounds like maybe Windows Messenger (Not MSN messenger) is running in the background and starts automaticly as windows starts. (Seems to be default on some windows versions)
Try follow these instructions to disable windows messenger:

http://www.bigblueball.com/im/msn/ho..._messenger.asp

I basicly just delete the x:\program files\windows messenger\ folder
in safe mode
