audio conversation

hi,
im having some problems with MSN audio conversation. I use a headset and the people I talk to usually use the microphone and speakers. The problem is, when I speak I hear the echo of my voice and my voice seems to be delayed. I interrupt the person I am talking to because of this delay. Im not sure how to fix this problem. If anybody is willing to help I greatly appreciate!
