Finally Fixed the "Password" problem

some 1 else had posted this and I found it and IT WORKS:>

I experienced the same problems:
1. hotmail - get "cannot display page"
2. MSN messenger ver. 6.1 - get "password incorrect"
3. MSN explorer - get attemps 1,2,3 and then times out

I searched the internet and found somebody suggesting to re-register a dll as follows:

START> RUN> regsvr32 softpub.dll
Then click "Ok"

I tried this, rebooted my computer (laptop with Windos XP SP1) and the my above 3 problems disappeared.

Try re-registering the softpub.dll and see if this will help fix your problems.
